Final Project Description.

Final Project Description My final project is an offshoot of the theme I have been continuing the entire semester. I began with the artist Guadalupe Rosales, making some pieces that replicated his art. I was attracted to the tribal geometry of the designs and continued making symbols that for me were reminiscent of arizona patterns. I moved to digital negatives of the symbols with nature that the designs were reminiscent of. Traditionally in the native culture that arizona patterns come from, the symbols represent things in the natural world like animals and plants. I decided to work on digital negatives of animals based off of photographs that I have taken.
